For the third consecutive year, Midland National® has been named to Ward’s Top 50 list of top-performing life-health insurance companies. Ward analyzes the financial performance of over 700 companies handling life and health insurance, and they identify the top performers based on the passage of safety and consistency screens. Those named to the top 50 have achieved superior performance over a five-year period (2013-2017).

Steve Palmitier, president and COO of Midland National Life Insurance Company, says, “As one of the leading insurance companies in the U.S., Midland National has built upon its success by continuing to emphasize providing quality products and excellent service. Our naming to this year’s list serves as further validation that our company has maintained its ability to meet stakeholder obligations.”

Being named to Ward’s top 50 is the third recent commendation for Midland National, following Fitch’s affirmation of Midland National’s A+ rating, the fifth-highest out of 19,[1] and their ranking3 by Wink’s as among the top 10 indexed annuity carriers.[2]
